Traditional Worship (8:30 am Sundays)
Beautiful and inspiring, a blend of traditional elements, including scripture readings, prayers, and hymns led by the Chapel Choir, organ, pianist and orchestra under the direction of our Minister of Music, Jeff Lawson. The centerpiece of our worship is the exposition of the Bible. Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, prayer, congregational scripture readings, giving, missionary moments, and occasionally drama, are also important aspects of our worship of the Living God. People of all ages attend the classic worship service because they love singing hymns using a hymnal, the beautiful sounds of the organ and choir, and the early hour for worship.
Contemporary Praise (11:00 am Sundays)
Lively, upbeat and celebratory, a blend of favorite praise choruses and hymns arranged in a contemporary style led by a worship band and singers. Our contemporary praise service is intended to draw worshipers closer to the Lord by means of Christ-centered, biblically strong praise songs and hymns. Our excellent praise band, featuring guitars, drums, keyboard and vocal support, led by Andy Murray, leads us with music that is bright, lively, joyful and doctrinally faithful. Our teaching emphasis is the same as the early service: the clear exposition and application of the Bible as God’s Word and as our final authority for our beliefs and behavior.
The Bible message is the same in both the traditional and contemporary worship services.
