Compassion ministries contribute to the development of the church by encouraging spiritual growth in the members. Serving others is a beneficial spiritual discipline as it enables people to develop and use their spiritual gifts. This leads to a deeper level of satisfaction and fulfillment for Christians who give themselves away in service to Christ and to others. For this reason, the church may need the needy as much as the needy need the church. The following are examples of our church’s ministries of compassion which are touching many lives in the community.
